The following options are available for obtaining customs documents (e.g. invoices, levies bordereaux, assessment decisions and refund documents) from the new goods movement system Passar:
1) Using customs clearance software (API interface)
If you work with customs clearance software, you can obtain the documents via an API interface. To do this, you need to register in ePortal with the "Freight" business partner role. Further information can be found on this website (in particular steps 4 and 5).
2) Via ePortal (with registration)
You can obtain your documents directly via the free web application Chartera Output in ePortal. To do this, you need to register in ePortal with the "Downloading of documents in the movement of goods" business partner role. More information
3) With access code (without registration)
You can also obtain your documents without registering. Ask your customs service provider (e.g. freight forwarding company) for the customs declaration number (same number as the assessment decision) and the corresponding access code. You can then obtain the electronic assessment decision via the access function in Chartera Output (web application not part of ePortal). Only individual requests can be made; bulk requests are not possible.
Please note that Chartera Output (ePortal) and Chartera Output (web application not part of ePortal) are two different systems with different requirements and purposes (see table below).
Obtaining Passar and e-dec documents: an overview
During the transition phase until e-dec is fully replaced by Passar, customs documents from e-dec and Passar must be obtained separately.
