In 2024, 4,234 people worked at the FOCBS, ensuring a permanent presence throughout the country. Whether they perform operational or support functions, their ongoing commitment contributes to the protection of Switzerland, day and night.

The FOCBS welcomes people with a variety of profiles. All have chosen to put their skills at the service of the FOCBS, thus contributing to the diversity and richness of the office. Last year, 91 candidates completed their basic training and were awarded their diploma as a customs and border security specialist. In addition, two new cohorts started their training, bringing the total number of candidates to 109.
