Exportation from Switzerland

All goods that are exported from Switzerland via a transporter such as Swiss Post or a courier are declared to Swiss Customs by the transporter.

Following the declaration to Swiss Customs, we check compliance with the export provisions. We also check whether the goods are subject to bans, restrictions or requirements, as well as whether the corresponding authorisations are present (animals, CITES species protection, weapons, cultural assets, etc.).

The Federal Office for Customs and Border Security levies no charges upon exportation.

Contact the relevant transporter to determine the whereabouts of your goods (track and trace) - see right-hand column under "Contact".

Special case - temporary exportation
For the temporary exportation of goods, e.g. for repairs, please note the information on so-called processing traffic.
