R-60 Non-customs legislative instruments

The Federal Customs Administration also contributes to the performance of tasks based on pieces of legislation that are beyond customs law (Art. 95 of the Customs Act). These tasks are referred to as non-customs legislative instruments.

In Directive 60 (R-60), you will find instructions and information on what people subject to the declaration obligation must take into account when importing, exporting, transiting and storing goods with regard to these non-customs legislative instruments and what authorities are responsible for further information or authorisations.

The Directive 60 is available in German, French and Italian

Further areas and directives will be published here by the end of 2017. Until then, further information can also be found in the Remarks on the customs tariff – Tares.
